| Family OnDemand Launches on Cogeco |

Astral Media’s Family Channel today announced that it will launch its first on-demand service on Cogeco Cable on March 4, 2008. The new service will offer a minimum of 30 hours of programming from Disney, including Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, together with popular Canadian series such as Life With Derek and Naturally, Sadie. Family OnDemand will also offer entertaining and educational programming from Playhouse Disney, enabling young children and their families to enjoy such series as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and My Friends Tigger and Pooh whenever they want. The titles offered on Family OnDemand will be offered to Family Channel digital subscribers at no additional cost so kids can watch their favourite shows as often as they choose.
“Viewing habits and viewer expectations have changed, especially among kids and tweens. This service reflects this change incorporating our best programming with the power of on-demand technology,” Joe Tedesco, Vice President and General Manager, Family Channel and Playhouse Disney. “One of the key advantages to this service is that we have on-demand rights for all of our viewers’ current favourites. So whether it’s Hannah Montana and Cory In The House or Little Einsteins and Handy Manny, kids of all ages will now be able to find what they want when they want on Family OnDemand.”
Family OnDemand offers a minimum of 30 hours of programming, refreshed weekly, including: hit Disney movies and series such as Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Kim Possible; and popular Canadian series such as Life With Derek and the new series The Latest Buzz. The service will also feature Playhouse Disney series such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Franny’s Feet. Leveraging the latest in on-demand technology, this free service enables viewers to take control of their viewing and order from a comprehensive roster of Family Channel and Playhouse Disney titles, all with the pause/rewind/fast-forward capabilities of a DVD player.
