Rogers SportsNet Kicks Off New Three-Year NFL Network Deal With Bears and 49ers This Thursday

Rogers Sportsnet’s opens an exciting eight-game NFL schedule tomorrow (Thursday) November 12 at 8 p.m. (ET)/5 p.m. (PT) when the Chicago Bears visit the San Francisco 49ers across all Sportsnet channels and Sportsnet HD channels. Sportsnet is the exclusive Canadian broadcaster of the NFL Network’s eight-game schedule for the next three seasons.

The NFL Network’s regular-season schedule on Sportsnet features six Thursday night broadcasts – including the Buffalo Bills hosting the New York Jets at Rogers Centre in Toronto – one Saturday night telecast and a Friday-night broadcast on Christmas.

Chicago (4-4) dropped a 41-21 decision to the Arizona Cardinals on the weekend. Bears QB Jay Cutler threw for 369 yards in the loss, his highest this season. Chicago remains third in the NFC North, trailing division leader Minnesota with a 7-1 record. The 49ers (3-5) are tied with the Seattle Seahawks for second in the NFC West as Arizona sits on top at 5-3. San Francisco has an all-time record of 30-29-1 against Chicago.

Sportsnet will broadcast the Bills vs. Jets on December 3rd at 8 p.m. (ET). The contest marks the third of eight games over a five-year period for the Bills at Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Fans of the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers will have an opportunity to see their team in action on Thursday, Dec. 10th at 8 p.m. (ET) when they face the Cleveland Browns.
