Sportsnets

Rogers Sportsnet will be sole broadcaster in Canada to air UFC 105 live and in High Definition Saturday, November 14 at 3 pm (ET)/12 pm (PT) on Sportsnet East, Sportsnet East HD, Sportsnet Ontario and Sportsnet Ontario HD.

UFC 105 will also be rebroadcast on Saturday, November 14 at 8 pm locally across all Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD channels.

The main event will feature the return of veteran Randy “The Natural” Couture to the light heavyweight division for the first time in three years. He will be facing Brandon “The Truth” Vera in quest of his sixth world title. Another highlight promises to be a middleweight battle between England’s own Michael “The Count” Bisping and Canadian Denis Kang.

"UFC 105 has a variety of story lines that has me excited,” says MMA Connected host “Showdown” Joe Ferraro. “First and foremost will be whether Couture will be passing the torch to Vera or will he continue his dominance over ‘Father Time’."

For even more UFC 105 coverage, sportsnet.ca will have live streaming of the Pre-Fight Press Conference on Thursday, November 12 at 8 am (ET)/5 am (PT), the official weigh-in starting Friday, November 13 at 11 am (ET)/8 am (PT) as well as the Post Fight Press Conference on Saturday, November 14 at 6:30 pm (ET)/3:30 pm (PT).

Next Monday’s edition of MMA Connected will feature all the highlights of UFC 105 including post-fight analysis and reactions from the fighters.
