CBC Country Canada is Canada's digital home for celebrating this country. In the tradition of the CBC, Country Canada offers an incredible range of programming that challenges, engages and entertains Canadians from coast to coast.
Original and Exclusive – Original Canadian programming that you can't see anywhere else, produced in two Canadian cities in two different provinces. Food Chain educates and investigates from the free range to the open range and everything in between – it's the one food show that cuts through the fat to tell us what we need to know about the increasingly complicated world of food. CountryWide looks beyond the headlines to tell a different type of story, including the human costs, and the costs to Canada. Produced in Winnipeg, it focuses on stories outside of the big cities.
Television Made Here – Take the time to discover the country we call home with some of the best regional programming the CBC has to offer. Going strong for over 30 years, Land and Sea is dedicated to reflecting East Coast lifestyles in a unique and unparalleled way, featuring the people of Atlantic Canada, their lives and their stories. Country Canada (the show) is one of the longest running programs on Canadian television, offering investigative insight into the land that feeds us, the water we drink and the air we breathe. And in Wings Over Canada, bush pilot John Lovelace covers every corner of the Canadian wilderness, documenting his travels and discoveries. Exotic and vital, Planet In Focus presents select documentaries from Canada's only Annual International Environmental and Film and Video Festival. Greatdocs is a series that celebrates the uniqueness of the Canadian spirit – stories from every region speak to the heart of what it is to be a Canadian. And Reporter's Voice goes beyond the camera to speak to the journalists who sometimes risk life and limb for a good story.
