Here's the programming highlights for 2004-2005.
NEW PROGRAMS:
15/Love

When arrogant young tennis prodigies dream, they dream of Cascadia, an ace sports academy with top-notch coaches and an idyllic location in the Québec countryside. At least that’s what the
brochure says, but sometimes brochures tell only half the story—the sunny half. At Cascadia, everyone wants a piece of you. With millions of dollars at stake and major reputations on the line, these kids live under a mountain of stress 24/7. If they rise to the occasion, stardom and fortune await them in the tennis world. If they fall, the
dream is over.
15/Love is an edgy teen drama about coming-of-age in a fishbowl of raw ambition, talent and hormones. There are the hometown friends, the funny guy, the hotshot,
the prima donna prodigy and the anti-jock. Follow this group of young tennis hopefuls as they
bond over contraband junk food, illegal birthday bashes and a tragedy that truly tests the school’s
resilience.
Drake & Josh

When school’s the only thing you have in common, how are you supposed to live together? That’s what opposites play-by-the-rules Josh and too-cool-for-school Drake wonder when they find out their parents are getting married. Drake & Josh is the story of an odd couple of teen stepbrothers. Intelligent, sensitive 15-year-old Josh Nichols (Josh Peck, The Amanda Show) never mingled at school with cool, calculating charmer Drake Parker (Drake Bell, The Amanda Show), until their parents wed and the teens moved in under the same roof.
In no time at all, work-averse Drake discovers that having a stepbrother might not be so bad. The
handsome singer-musician and budding ladies’ man pulls angelic Josh into shenanigans that land
them both in hot water.
Dark Oracle

L-R: Alex House as the animated and live-action character Lance, and Paula Brancati as the animated and live-action character Cally..
Uniquely combining live action with comic book style animation, Dark Oracle follows the lives of 15-year-old fraternal twins, Cally and Lance Stone. Upon discovering a comic book based on their alter egos, the two are plunged into a world of danger and uncertainty. With their very existence at stake, the twins must find answers within themselves to break free of the comic curse – or else! Dark Oracle is a series that shifts viewers in and out of an exciting and perilous world of fantasy.
Danny Phantom

From Butch Hartman, the creator of the animated hit The Fairly OddParents, comes Danny Phantom, a funny, fantastic actionpacked adventure series. Danny Fenton was a typical shy freshman at Casper High until one afternoon when he accidentally blew up his parents’ laboratory. Now he's Danny Phantom, a half ghost teen phantom-fighter with superpowers, who's busy saving the world while hiding his new identity and trying to survive the daily social hurdles of ninth grade. The only people who know his secret are his best
friends and sidekicks, techno-geek Tucker and freethinking Goth girl Sam.
Spy Academy
Espionage has its price, but also, its rewards. That’s what three teams of techno savvy kids find out as they race against time and each other to earn the title of “International Super Spy” in this new reality game show. Followed by camera crews, the teams work to solve puzzles, crack codes and fulfill their assigned missions. Entertaining and highly competitive, Spy Academy provides elite training for the contending “Special Agents,” while viewers participate online from home through interactive web components.
Xiaolin Showdown

Four young warriors unite to bravely battle evil in Xiaolin Showdown, a mystical comedy adventure that follows Omi, a gifted Xiaolin Dragon-in-training, and his fellow trainees, rich Japanese hacker girl Kimiko, flashy Brazilian circus star Raimundo and Texas Kung Fu cowboy Clay, around the world to find and protect the sacred Shen Gong Wu-ancient power objects that hold the keys to martial arts superpowers.
Challenging the young monks in their noble quest are the legendary witch Wuya and her evil boy genius apprentice, Jack Spicer, aided by his custom-built robot army. An outlandish team of super villains joins Wuya and Jack in seeking
to possess the powerful relics for their own wicked plans.
Code Lyoko
When a super virus threatens the central processing units in X.A.N.A., a mad computer, both Earth and a parallel universe called Lyoko face the threat of annihilation. But four boarding students, Yumi, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy set out to foil the mad computer’s evil designs and save both worlds. Leading double lives as ordinary students by day and action heroes in the virtual digital world by night, the kids fight to save the world they love, and the one they have only imagined.
Winx Club

Five teen girls make up the Winx Club, fairies-in-training in a universe of magic.
Do you believe in magic? The five smart, hip and fashionable teens that make up the Winx Club do. Not only are they dealing with the usual pressures of being a teen, but they are also fairies-in-training. And in a universe where magic is a way of life, the Winx Club have begun a battle against the evil witches at the neighbouring school. Exploring topics like love, style, music and friendship, the members of the Winx Club may all have different interests, but one thing is certain – they want to get rid of the witches, and look good while they do it!

WINTER/SPRING 2005
Being Ian
From the creators of Yvon of the Yukon, one of YTV’s top Canadian series, Being Ian features the adventures of Ian Kelly, a 12-year-old boy whose grandiose imagination encourages wild schemes of filmic proportions into his every-day life. As the star of the show, Ian is always at the heart of the action, trying to direct the world around him and incite the brilliance of his mind’s-eye into each situation. Despite being a bright kid with well-meaning ideas, Ian inevitably lands himself in all kinds of interesting predicaments. Good thing his artistic sensibility usually kicks in, as does his directorial humility, and he still manages to walk away from each set with a sense of accomplishment. Or a detention!
Mischief City
Mischief City is an animated series about the adventures of eightyear- old Winchell in the wild and whimsical world of Mischief City. Whether it's a dangerous journey to the distant Dust Bunny Planet, a perilous expedition up Cheeseburger Mountain, a ferocious battle with the 50-foot Sock-o-saurus, or a once-in-a-lifetime chance to become
the world's foremost Armpit Virtuoso, Mischief City is a place where absolutely anything can happen... and it usually does!
Flat!
When a glowing magazine pulls 13-year-old Vincent into its world, things get … FLAT! Now in the wild and strange world of magazines,
everything is made of paper and even Vincent is paper-thin. Luckily Vincent befriends Kyu, a funky girl with attitude and the unique ability to see the otherwise invisible rifts that could let Vincent return to a three-dimensional existence. Together they search each magazine hoping that the next rift will be the one that takes Vincent back home.
Brady’s Beasts
Imagine a world where kids are clamouring to replace their household pets … with monsters. For 12-year-old Brady Plunkett this world is a reality. After all, goldfish and gerbils are passé. In the new
millennium hideous monsters are all the rage. For these kids, there's nothing more exciting than a frightening, unpredictable and often carnivorous pet. But as a tireless crusader for 'Monsters' Rights,' Brady is working hard to help the monsters adjust to suburban life, while eliminating the typical monster stereotypes. Learn the do's,
don'ts and do-at-your-own-risks of raising a pet monster.
