Movie Central October 2010
Posted on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 - 09:20 AM
Movie Central

This October, Movie Central presents Showtime’s new series Look, the Canadian premiere of the prankster series Scare Tactics and a slew of scary movies in celebration of Halloween. Also premiering this October on Movie Central is The Blind Side, the critically-acclaimed film that won Sandra Bullock an Oscar® and the Movie Central-supported documentary Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage.

SHOWTIME SERIES PREMIERE

LOOK
Based on writer-director Adam Rifkin’s award-winning film of the same name, Look follows several different stories filmed entirely from the vantage point of security cameras from across the United States. Security cameras generate more than four billion hours of footage every week in the United States and the average American is captured over 200 times a day, in department stores, gas stations and even change rooms. This half-hour series takes voyeurism to a new high and exposes the eerie possibility that someone is always watching.

Series premiere:
Movie Central: Monday, October 11 at 10:30 p.m. PT
The Movie Network: Monday, October 11 at 11:30 p.m. ET

SERIES PREMIERE

Scare Tactics
Tracy Morgan hosts Scare Tactics, a half-hour reality series that puts a new spin on the average prank. Unsuspecting victims are lured into terrifying situations by their friends and family who are in on the act. Once in position, victims witness a supernatural or gruesome event, including alien abductions, hauntings and violent crimes inspired by scenes from popular sci-fi and horror films. Little do they know, this is a set up and they are being filmed from multiple angles.

Series premiere:
Movie Central: Mondays, October 4 at 10 p.m. PT
