| OLN Announces Start of Production on Two New Original Series From Buck Productions |

Continuing its format of adrenaline-pumping action and adventure entertainment with larger-than-life personalities, OLN has commissioned two new original Canadian series: Deals from the Dark Side and Saw Dogs, both from Buck Productions.
Both series are currently in production, and are scheduled to air on OLN later this broadcast year.
“The talented team at Buck Productions has created exciting concepts and characters that are on-brand with what OLN viewers have come to know and love.” said Claire Freeland, Director of Development and Production, Rogers Media Television. “Rogers Media is excited to be working with Buck Productions to bring these innovative original programming concepts to our audience.
Deals from the Dark Side is a 13 episode half-hour adventure reality series that follows eccentric collector Steve Santini on his quest to buy and authenticate dark relics. Santini scours North America looking for the rare, unusual, and tragic. A lifelong collector, the obscure Santini takes viewers on a journey as he continues his search for the world’s darkest historical artifacts. Santini has also been named the Ripley’s Believe it or Not “World’s Most Extreme Escape Artist” and is a Titanic historian.
Saw Dogs is a 10 episode half-hour extreme reality series, following the little-known world of chainsaw carving art. Following renowned veteran carver Steve Blanchard - in each episode, Blanchard is joined by some of the world’s best carvers, taking viewers through the time constraints, pressure, and extreme artistry of chainsaw carving. Saw Dogs is currently in production in Vancouver.
OLN’s ongoing support of Canadian independent productions has been a major contributor to the success of series such as Mantracker, Survivorman, Departures, Beyond Survival, World Travels, Ed’s Up, Angry Planet and Which Way To.
