The Season 13 star-studded cast and their professional partners get ready to break in their dancing shoes on DANCING WITH THE STARS in the highly anticipated two-hour season premiere, Monday, September 19 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV Two (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). A Top 20 hit last Fall, the DANCING WITH THE STARS performance episode was the most-watched on Monday nights in Canada with an average audience of 2.3 million viewers, up 7% from the previous season.

Programming Highlights: It’s a Six Pack! CTV’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA Has First-Ever Top 6 Finale

Six will perform, but only one will win the title of Canada’s Favourite Dancer. For the first time in SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA history, it was announced live on CTV tonight that six dancers will remain in the competition to perform in next week’s final performance show. The Top 6 dancers are: CHRISTIAN Millette (28), a Ballroom dancer from Montreal, QC; JORDAN Clark (19), a Contemporary dancer from Tottenham, ON; LINDSAY Leuschner (19), a Contemporary dancer from Stouffville, ON; MATT Marr (20), a Contemporary from Quispamsis, NB; MELISSA Mitro (23), a Contemporary dancer from Richmond Hill, ON; and SHANE Simpson (24), a Jazz dancer from Thornhill, ON. With six dancers left standing, it was revealed that ADAM and DENITSA received the lowest number of votes and were eliminated from the competition. The Top 6 will take to the stage on Monday, September 5 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV, giving viewers one last opportunity to vote for their Favourite Dancer before the winner is revealed during the live two-hour finale on Sunday, September 11 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV (go to ctv.ca to confirm local listings).

CTV Ottawa’s local weekend information programs are getting a new look including changes to two of the most-watched shows in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. CTV NEWS AT SIX with Kimothy Walker will expand to a full-hour program on Saturdays, beginning Saturday, Sept. 10. And, beginning Sunday, Sept. 11, REGIONAL CONTACT will move from its 6:30 p.m. timeslot on Saturdays, to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays.
