Back-to-back nights of high-heeled drama return to MTV this April. On Tuesday, April 27 at 10 p.m. ET the final season of THE HILLS, the #1 series on MTV this season-to-date, has viewers bidding farewell to the program that brought them LC, Speidi and everyone’s favourite comeback-villain, Kristin Cavallari. Then it’s over to NYC as Whitney Port continues to navigate the world of high fashion while launching her own line in the season premiere of THE CITY, on Wednesday, April 28 at 10 p.m. ET. Take a deep breath, because it doesn’t stop there. Join Canada’s own Jessi Cruickshank and Dan Levy as they break down the break-downs live on the Gemini-nominated series THE AFTER SHOW. The #1 original Canadian series on MTV airs twice weekly, following THE HILLS (Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET) and THE CITY (Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. ET).

Passage is a two part documentary which examines the true story of John Rae (1813-1893) - The Hudson's Bay Company doctor, who solved the two great mysteries of the 19th Century: the fate of the doomed Sir John Franklin expedition, and the location of the last navigable link in the North West Passage. For twelve years after the disappearance of Franklin and his 130 men, the equivalent of 80 million dollars was spent on 40 ships sent in search of them. Using the ways of the Inuit, Rae discovered his fate, but his findings included the tragic news that the Franklin crew had resorted to cannibalism, and it was this truth that was his undoing.

Can First Nations children in northern Ontario cities get a first rate education? And what can be done for those that lag behind? TVO's Your Voice with host Cheryl Jackson was at the Timmins Native Friendship Centre on March 20 to record a program examining issues affecting Aboriginal students in urban centres in northern Ontario. Guest experts from northern Ontario's Aboriginal community joined Cheryl to discuss topics ranging from the availability of services to the challenges kids face when they leave reserves for the city.
