Bell is disappointed with today's decision by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to force satellite and cable companies to negotiate a fee with broadcasters for the mandatory carriage of local television signals that are already available for free over the air. Implementation of the regime will take effect if the Federal Court of Appeal determines the CRTC has the jurisdiction to impose its preferred regime. Note: Read the C.R.T.C.'s decision here |

Bell TV today announced it will offer AMC in both standard definition and high definition to its subscribers starting November 11. The popular channel features hundreds of movies each month plus compelling dramas such as the multi award-winning Mad Men and The Prisoner, which will debut November 15.

TSN2, Canada’s newest 24-hour sports network, announced today that it is now available across Canada on national digital television provider Bell TV. TSN2 became available on the service just moments ago, giving Bell TV customers access to hundreds of live sports events.
