In an aggressive pursuit to increase its presence in key markets across Canada, Citytv has signed an affiliate agreement with Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN), the two networks announced today.
Bluepoint Investment Corporation and the Government of Saskatchewan have finalized the terms of the agreement for Bluepoint’s purchase of the assets and operations of Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN). At the end of June, the Government of Saskatchewan announced that it had reviewed the bids for the province’s educational broadcaster and had selected the Bluepoint proposal as the best value for taxpayers and most beneficial for the province’s production industry.
SCN, along with the RCMP, RCMP Heritage Centre and JenCor Entertainment Inc. is holding an open house for the television series Courage in Red. This series recognizes and celebrates the men and women of Canada's national police force.

SCN and Cooper Rock Pictures held an open house with students at LeBoldus High School to welcome Drug Class back for its second season, which begins airing on SCN September 24th at 9:00pm.
