On September 5, the French TV network Radio-Canada will broadcast the first show of the TV version of Coup de pouce, Quebec's best-selling(*) and most widely read(xx) magazine, which has 1.4 million readers. Thanks to a partnership between Transcontinental Media, Novem and Radio-Canada, the program hosted by Elaine Ayotte will be broadcast every weekday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.
It was announced at the end of the playoffs that RDS has struck a deal with the NHL to present games from the Montreal Canadiens which left Radio-Canada with nothing, ending a 50 years tradition on saturday nights. Note: Information obtained from La Presse of Tuesday, July 23rd, 2002.
